National Correctional Officers & Employees Week 2018

An Opportunity to Honor, Praise and Cherish All of the Men and Women in Corrections - a letter from ACA's President, Dr. Lannette Linthicum and Executive Director, James Gondles Jr.

The week designated annually to recognize and honor the women and men who work in the field of corrections has passed, but the opportunity to shine a light on correctional officers and employees always remains. That is why we want to know how your organization celebrated National Correctional Officers and Employees Week. For those of you who have yet to hold your special events, we want to know your plans. Please send us your high-resolution images and your stories. Through ACA’s flagship publication, Corrections Today, our website and other communications, we will gladly share what you did, what you are doing, and what you plan to do to celebrate corrections professionals everywhere. If you have any questions, please contact Eric Schultz, director of Government & Public Affairs, at 703-224-0110 or
