When will my membership begin after I apply?
Membership will begin immediately after we have received your application and payment.
When will I receive my new member packet?
You will receive your membership packet 3-4 weeks from the time your application and payment is processed.
How can I pay for my membership dues?
American Correctional Association accepts checks, money orders and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diner’s Club)
What are the different types of membership?

If I join ACA, will I also become a member of my state’s Chapter?
Yes. When you reside in one of our Dual Membership states, you will automatically become a member at no extra cost. Please go to our listing of Dual Membership Chapters.
How do I find out my membership identification number?
If you are a new member, your membership id number will be included on your receipt. You will receive your membership card in approximately 3-4 weeks. You can also call us at 1-800-222-5646.
I did not receive a magazine this month. What should I do?

I did not receive a confirmation number when I submitted my application. Did my application go through?
If you provided credit card information and did not receive a transaction number, your card was not charged. Be sure to select “credit card” as the payment method or your card will not be charged.
