Who should take the CCN/M exam?
This category includes individuals who work as nurse managers in a
correctional environment. They are management staff who may contribute to the
development of policy and procedures, are responsible for their implementation,
and have authority over staff nurses.

Qualifications: Education and Work Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with State Nursing Board
• Associate, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science in Nursing, or a three (3)
year Nursing Diploma
• One (1) year of Correctional Nursing Management experience; individual
supervises other medical personnel and administrative staff
CCN/M Certification Program Fee:
• ACA member: $235
• Non-ACA member: $295
