Assistant Vice President for Correctional Education
Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President for Correctional Education is
responsible for leading and executing the university's strategy for
incarcerated, reentry, and formerly incarcerated students and building,
developing and managing relationships with the various state Department of
Corrections and Rehabilitation, governmental agencies, non-governmental
organizations, and not for profit organizations that serve the incarcerated and
formerly incarcerated persons. Serve with the President and the Executive
Leadership Team in developing a comprehensive, innovative, and bold vision for
the university's incarcerated and formerly incarcerated persons. The Assistant
Vice President ensures compliance with university policies and procedures and
optimization of resources.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science or Arts from and
accredited college or university required
Experience
- Successful track record, 5 - 7 years,
of developing leads, proposal development, and winning contracts with
corporations and governmental agencies required
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of project
management experience required
