The CCP/CCIM Certification Process

Becoming a Certified Corrections Professional involves the following steps; we will review each step.

Step 1: Apply

Complete and submit the application at https://form.jotform.com/253205998417062

Member discount applies. Join ACA now.

Step 2: Approval

Once your application is approved, you will receive an email to submit payment.

Step 3: Register for the exam

Once payment has been received, you will receive a registration email. At this time you will be able to select your date and time for the exam.

Step 4: Taking the exam

The final step is to take the exam. ACA offers only online testing.

Only those individuals who have formally applied for and have been accepted into the program may take the exam. Prior to taking the exam, please ensure that you have prepared the following:

1. Government-issued photo identification card
2. A secure internet connection
3. A quiet place with no distractions
4. The "Zoom" application is installed on your device.
5. Your microphone is working properly
